IRN Steering Committee was established to facilitate land development for residential housing, industrial parks and commercial revitalization. We work closely with our member organizations:
We are the largest community in the western portion of our regional district and the hub of economic activity in the area. Our municipal government, locally known as the Village, provides services and recreational facilities for our residents, our neighbours and our visitors to enjoy.
The mission of the Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce is to maintain a role of leadership and advocacy in the Nakusp and District business community, while promoting and supporting economic development and tourism in partnership with community stakeholders.
The Nakusp and Area Development Board (NADB) is an incorporated non-profit society. Our purpose is to further the development of this region in the arts/culture & heritage, economic, education, forestry, social services and tourism economic sectors.
Columbia Basin Trust supports the ideas and efforts of the people in the Columbia Basin.
We take our lead from residents and communities. Whatever the situation calls for, we adapt our role: from providing resources, to bringing people together, to leading an entire initiative. The Trust is here to offer experience and support to all Basin residents.
While our range of services, programs, initiatives and financial investments is extensive, our purpose is straightforward: we exist and act for the social, economic and environmental well-being of the Basin—now and for generations to come.
Arrow & Slocan Lakes Community Services was incorporated as a provincial non-profit society in 1974 and as a federally Registered Charitable Organization in 1983.
